Communicative French as a Second Language

Want to take French lessons for beginners, or at a more advanced level? Improve your French writing, listening, reading and speaking skills with our Communicative FSL online program. With everything from basic French vocabulary to grammar, you be sure to learn the skills you need to reach your goal.

French for Business

Taking French lessons for your career? Try our French for Business program. Speak French with confidence in the workplace by mastering the business French phrases and etiquette – whether you’re learning French for an interview, speak with clients, or give a presentation.

Our students will develop the essential skills to master the French language. Our methodology will help you to reach your language goals. At Language Links you’ll forget that French is your second language, or even your third. Take the steps to form your first sentences and speak with your French friends or clients with confidence!

Our classes are based on the recommendations of the CLB / NCLC, a standard reference adopted by Canadian educational systems.

Fundamental: Level 1, 2, 3 & 4

Students are absolute beginner and are able to communicate in routine and predictable situations, in order to meet basic needs, carry out daily activities and deal with known topics of immediate personal interest.

Intermediate: Level 5, 6, 7 & 8

Students become more independent to communicate in a wider variety of everyday situations of social life, study and work, as well as in less predictable contexts.

Advanced: Level 9, 10, 11 & 12

Student can comfortably use the range of skills required to communicate effectively, appropriately, accurately and easily on most subjects, in situations and contexts from the most familiar to the most unpredictable, from the most general to the most complex.  Students understand the purpose of communication and adjust according to their audience to which they are addressing. Student develop skills for high-stakes or high-risk academic and professional settings, and in situations where the aspects of communication have a significant impact.
